Congratulations to Thapelo E. Mmusinyane and the eThekwini Municipality team — the 2026 eThekwini Property Conference was a genuinely different kind of event.

What made it work was the intent in the room. Investors, developers and funding partners weren't there to discuss the market in the abstract. They were there to pave the way for deals — for real capital to meet real projects.

The entrepreneurship on show was the proof of it. Credible operators with credible projects, in the same room as the people who can fund and build them. That is how transactions actually start.
